Sam Pitroda gives double thumbs up to FDI in retail sector

The central government's decision to introduce foreign direct investment (FDI) in retail sector has got thumbs up from the Advisor to Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh on Public Information Infrastructure & Innovations, Sam Pitroda. While addressing a news conference in Ahmedabad, Pitroda said that India needed to increase its pace in the race of globalisation and such steps would take the country forward.
