Sanjay Dutt returns to Yerwada jail

After enjoying two months of freedom, actor Sanjay Dutt, sentenced to six years rigorous imprisonment by a special court in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, on Monday surrendered in Mumbai and was back in Yerwada jail near Pune late last night. The 48-year-old actor, convicted for illegal possession of weapons under the Arms Act in connection with the 1993 blasts, was brought from Mumbai to Pune by road under heavy police escort.
