Sanjay Dutt to continue campaigning for SP

Actor-turned-politician and a leader of socialist Samajwadi Party, Sanjay Dutt would continue to campaign for his party despite the Supreme Court barring him from contesting the forthcoming general elections. The apex court ruled that Dutt, convicted to six years imprisonment for his role in the 1993 Mumbai blasts, cannot run for the ensuing parliamentary elections.
