SC rejects WB govt's plea in custodial death of TMC worker

The Supreme Court on Monday rejected a plea by the Mamata Banerjee government, challenging a Calcutta high court order for a CBI investigation into the alleged custodial death of a Trinamool Congress worker Kazi Nasiruddin in Dhaniakhali police station area in Hooghly district of West Bengal.
