Schoolchildren share an emotional bond with trees

In an effort to conserve trees, around 300 trees in a school in Jaipur district have been named after children and have been put under their care. The trees have been given these names to give them a human touch and create an emotional bonding between them and the schoolchildren. The idea has really worked well and the number of trees in the past few years in the school campus has increased manifold.
