Security beefed up across CWG venues; more teams arrive

With just four days left before the Commonwealth Games, security has been beefed up across New Delhi. Several squads of security officials conducted a thorough drill inside the state-of-the art Games media centre. Dog squads and bomb units were deployed at the media centre as well as the Games Village to check for explosives. Scores of personnel from the Delhi Police also scrutinised the belongings of visitors and journalists at the media centre with sophisticated gadgets.
