Security tightened at Kumbh Mela after Pune blast

Security has been ramped up at the ongoing Kumbh Mela that attracts millions of devotees in Haridwar, in the wake of a deadly bomb blast in Pune. Meanwhile, Devotees seemed in equally high spirits despite the extra security measures. The Kumbh Mela started on January 14 and will end on April 28. During the four-month period, officials expect 50 million people visiting Haridwar.
