Self help groups empower rural women in Jharkhand

Rural women in Jharkhand have joined self-help groups and undertaken business of making detergents and phenols to become independent and improve their living conditions. Women in Gumla block are being imparted training under the Swarnajayanti Gramin Swarozgar Yojana, an initiative by the central government for improving their economic conditions.
