Selling exotic birds despite ban

Galif Street, Kolkata. The scene of an exotic bird market! Despite a blanket ban, traders here openly trade exotic birds in the busy market area that comes alive on Sundays when sellers display the colourful creatures in cages. Several breed of birds like cocktails, silky hen, lovebirds, Badri, and pigeons of various hues and sizes are sold in this market.
