Sibal calls for private investment in education

Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal on Thursday said that global partnerships and private investments are must to improve the education sector. While speaking on the sidelines of a seminar 'Higher Education Summit' organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) at New Delhi, he said that education sector requires investment to develop infrastructure and the gross enrolment ratio needs to be improved by 2020.
