Sibal gets additional charge of Telecom Ministry

Putting an end to the speculations doing the rounds as to who would replace A Raja, the centre on Monday decided to give the charge of Telecom Ministry to Union HRD Minister Kapil Sibal. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today entrusted Sibal to take additional charge of the Telecom Ministry at a time when it was reported that the government was in no mood to give the Telecom portfolio to anyone to avoid further embarrassment till the end of the current session of Parliament on December 13.
