Sikhs stall traffic in Amritsar

The Sikh community continued to protest over the alleged killing of sikh youth by the Dera Sacha Sauda chief body guards. Road and rail traffic remained affected in Amritsar as the protest intensified. Several trains connecting Amritsar were cancelled, leaving passengers stranded on the stations. Relations between the followers of the Dera Sacha Sauda sect and mainstream Sikhs have been strained for nearly a year now.
