Six Maoists arrested in Bihar

In a major crackdown against the Maoists, the Bihar police on Sunday nabbed six Maoists including Deep Singh, the area commander of the Revolutionary Core Committee of the ultras, from Gaya district.The police team headed by Senior Superintendent of Police Amit Lodha said the police obtained information that the area commander Deep Singh was hiding in the nearby Khekara village of Gaya district and arrested him. After his arrest the police cordoned off another area in the district and launched an operation and arrested five other Maoists ultras acting on the information provided by Deep Singh.
