As most of northern India continues to reel under a severe cold wave, snowfall and frost has adversely affected the crops in Dharamsala distressing the local farmers. According to the farmers in the hilly town, frost, fog and snow flakes that accumulate on the crops have destroyed their mango, litchi and tomatoes crops. Farmers claimed that almost 70% of their produce has been destroyed and many crops have been nipped in the bud.
