Special corridor to access shrines in Pak

The apex religious body of the Sikhs, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandhak Committee or SGPC appealed to the federal government on May 19, to accord priority to the proposal for the Gurdwara Kartarpur Corridor in the talks agenda during External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee's visit to Pakistan. Sikhs from across the world have long been demanding the corridor between the two holy shrines.
