Updated on Mar 30, 2009 10:51 pm IST
The special court constituted to try the Mumbai Terror attacks case on Monday appointed two lawyers for Amir Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist who was involved in the 26/11 massacre. Advocate Anjali Waghmare will represent Kasab in court. The court's decision came after Pakistan failed to respond to Kasab's plea for legal assistance. Upto this point in time, Indian lawyers had refused to represent Kasab.
