Spectrum allocation not ISRO's job: Madhavan Nair
Updated on Feb 09, 2011 09:23 pm IST
Former Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation G. Madhavan Nair, while commenting on the alleged S-Band scam in Coimbatore on Tuesday said that allocation of spectrum is not the job of the organisation. Nair sarcastically said ISRO works in the field of building satellites rather than selling spectrums. He said ISRO was given a clean chit by the government itself saying that since there was no transaction between the organisation and any other party, so there was no loss of revenue to the exchequer.
