Sri Lanka to consider extradition of Prabhakaran

Sri Lankan High Commissioner in India R Jaisinghe on Wednesday said that the Indian request for extradition of LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran to stand trial in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi could be seriously looked into.Rajiv Gandhi was killed by a woman suicide bomber as he campaigned for 1991 general elections that possibly could have returned him to power.
