Coal Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal on Tuesday denied charges that the Delhi police baton-charged or fired on yoga guru Baba Ramdev's followers, when they held a hunger strike to protest corruption and black money in New Delhi. Speaking to mediapersons in Lucknow, Jaiswal said the crackdown by the Delhi police at the Ramlila Madan in the wee hours of Sunday was a justified action.
