Sukinda one of the most polluted area in the world

According to a report issued by an American environmental group, Sukinda in Orissa state has been named as one of the ten most polluted areas in the world. As per the report released by the Blacksmith Institute, around 2,600,000 people are potentially affected by the pollution in the area. Environmental activists say they have been warning the state government against the threat for many years but in vain.
