Sushil Kumar becomes brand ambassador of MGNREGA

Sushil Kumar, the winner of the popular TV quiz game show, 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' has been chosen as the brand ambassador of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). Honouring him at a function recently in New Delhi, Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh said that no one other than Kumar could be a better ambassador of the scheme. On the occasion, Kumar, said that he would be happy to be the face of the social welfare scheme.
