Suspended Gujarat officer Vanzara quits; blames Modi, Shah

Currently under scanner for involvement in fake encounter cases, suspended Gujarat IPS officer DG Vanzara on Tuesday resigned putting the entire blame on the state's chief minister Narendra Modi and his close aide and former home minister Amit Shah, saying that the state government did not back him when his name appeared in the cases.
