Swearing-in of expansion of Maharashtra cabinet takes place

The swearing-in ceremony of the expansion of new state cabinet of Maharashtra took place in the presence of state chief Prithviraj Chavan, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in Mumbai on Friday. Maharashtra Governor K. Shankarnarayan administered the oath of office to the new ministers, including 19 from the Congress and 10 from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). The expansion of Prithviraj Chavan-led Congress-NCP ministry took place at Raj Bhavan.
