Talks with GJM on June 6: Mamata

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday said that the state government would hold discussions with the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) on June 6 on the Darjeeling issue to chart out a roadmap for future course of action. Banerjee said this in Kolkata on Monday after a formal meeting with Bimal Gurung, President of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha that is spearheading the movement for Gorkhaland. On his part, Bimal Gurung stated that the decision taken in favour of Gorkha people augurs well for the Darjeeling Hills region and the locals are happy with it.
