Tax Tribunal ruling in Bofors case being examined: Pranab

Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday said that the central government is examining the decision of the Income Tax tribunal in the Bofors case and necessary action would be taken only after this. He said this while interacting with the media persons on the sidelines of a global meet on the theme 'Accountancy Profession - Catalyst to Sustained Economic Growth' organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in New Delhi. He was replying to poser whether the government is planning to reopen the Bofors case.
