Ten killed, nine injured in Pune road accident

Ten people were killed and nine injured in an accident on the Pune Satara highway in Maharashtra on Monday.The accident occurred at around 4.30 am, when the tyre of a jeep suddenly burst,causing it to overturn. Another speeding vehicle hit the jeep from the back, which then hit the wall of a new tunnel in the highway, killing all ten passengers. The jeep was on its way to Mumbai from Satara.
