Terror fear increases demand of private security guards

The demand for the private security guards has shot up across India, particularly in Assam in the wake of the serial bomb blasts in the State and also Mumbai terror attacks. The security agencies seem to be riding high on the fear factor among the masses as well as the classes in Assam that has been a focus of a separatist insurgency for decades. Of late, the general peace was shattered by serial bomb attacks that ripped through Assam on January 1.
