Violence rocked Mumbai on Sunday as Uttar Pradesh based Samajwadi Party took out a rally in Mumbai against the derogatory remark made by Raj Thackeray on a traditional festival, which is quite popular in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar state. Railway Minister Lalu Prasad also came down heavily on Thackeray, saying he would have to bear the consequence of hurting religious sentiments.
