Thane building collapse: Prithviraj Chavan visits site

The death toll from the collapse of a building in Thane, on the outskirts of Mumbai, has risen to 42 after authorities rescued more bodies from the rubble of the building, which was under construction. Over 50 people were injured after a seven-storey building collapsed at Shil Dhaigar locality around 6.30 p.m on Thursday. Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan visited the site and took stock of the situation.
