Tharoor meets PM to clarify allegations over IPL Spat

Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor offered to quit as he met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his residence Sunday morning. Tharoor briefed Manmohan on the Kochi IPL controversy and reportedly offered to quit saying, if he has embarrassed government then he is ready to quit. Tharoor reached Singh's official residence to put across his point of view before a final call with regard to his future in the federal council of ministers. The meeting reportedly lasted around 50 minutes.
