Activists of regional Maharashtra Navnirman Sena attacked a cinema hall in Mumbai on Wednesday evening, where the Amitabh Bachchan starrer The Last Lear was set to premiere, forcing the authorities to call off the function. The move came after both Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan apologized for her statement that she was from Uttar Pradesh and would speak in Hindi at an entertainment related function in Mumbai.
