Three regional parties release their manifestoes

The Samajwadi Party released its manifesto in Uttar Pradesh today which states that the party will tackle issues of unemployment, education, corruption, environment, and reservation for backward classes, minorities and tribals. Releasing the manifesto, party chief and former UP chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav promised to improve the plight of farmers. Two other Indian regional parties, Shiv Sena and Janata Dal also released their manifestoes.
