Tirupur tragedy: wall collapse kills 28

At least 27 people have been killed and another five injured in a wall collapse near Tirupur city in Tamil Nadu due to heavy rains. Most of the dead were textile unit workers. Sixteen bodies have been identified and handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem. The accident took place late in the evening at the KPK Dyeing unit building, a garment dying set-up, in Angeripalayam, on the outskirts of Tirupur.
