TMC-Cong gap widens?
Updated on Feb 18, 2012 04:00 pm IST
The battle over the anti-terror body National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) today escalated after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee snubbed the UPA yet again by skipping the inauguration of a National Security Guards (NSG) hub in Kolkata on Saturday. The NSG hub was inaugurated by Home Minister P Chidambaram. Banerjee's decision came at the eleventh hour. Mamata's name was also deleted from the programme brochure prepared by the state government. The development comes as another setback to the Congress-TMC alliance, which has been going through a rough patch for quite some time.
