TN shootout: Victim’s kins demand CBI probe

Family members of the five alleged criminals, gunned down by police in Tamil Nadu, have demanded a CBI probe into the shootout. Police had gunned down five men, identified as Chandrika Ray, Harish Kumar, Abhay Kumar, Vinod Kumar and Vinay Prasad, alleging to be robbers. Meanwhile, Nalanda Station Head Officer, Kripa Shankar, said the Chennai police have asked the family members to bring an identity proof along with them to claim the bodies.
