Tourism affected due to Naxalism

Chulhapani, in Jharkhand, is a place where natural beauty exists in all its glory. Hills, rivers, waterfalls and green surroundings at this ancient religious site convert this place into an attractive tourist destination. But, the threatening presence of Maoists in the area, prevents exploitation of the region's tourism potential. Actually, Maoists are bent upon ensuring zero development in the area through their violent activities.
