Hordes of sports enthusiasts and tourists, both domestic and foreign, are thronging the ski resort of Narkanda for its winter sports, breath taking scenery and snow-clad mountain slopes. Tucked away in the picturesque Greater Himalayas, Narkanda is situated at an altitude of 2700 meters above sea level, 65 kilometers from the state capital Shimla. Narkanda offers ideal conditions for skiing and several other winter sport activities for beginners and professionals alike.
