Traditional drinks are a hit this summer

Traditional Indian drinks are giving multi-national soft drinks a run for their money as the temperature is rising across the country. People in northern India prefer the cool curd-based drink lassi to other aerated soft drink. In Amritsar, the holy city of Punjab, people throng lassi and soft drink stalls to get some respite from the heat.
