Transporters' strike affects cross border trade

The ongoing Indian transporters strike affected the cross border trade with Pakistan, as goods worth thousands of rupees lie at Wagah border in Punjab,waiting to be transported to Pakistan.Apart from affecting the prices of commodities in India, the strike has also taken a toll on the cross border trade with Pakistan. The trade which continued amid the growing tensions between India and Pakistan is now being hampered by this transporters strike.
