TRS president KCR ends his fast

TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao, who had been fasting unto death to press his demand for a separate Telangana state in Andhra Pradesh, ended his fast on Wednesday after the central government gave in, and promised that a motion for the creation of a new province would be brought up before the state assembly soon. Rao who fasted for 11 days at the time of the government's capitulation, thanked the government for the decision.
