Tsunami factor not considered in Jaitapur project: Ramesh

In a shocking disclosure Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh in New Delhi on Wednesday said that a possibility of Tsunami had not been taken into account by the government while granting clearance to the controversial Jaitapur nuclear project in Maharashtra. Asserting that the government had considered all seismic aspects before giving the go-ahead to the project, Ramesh categorically said that tsunami had not been taken into account.
