UAE probing Indian fisherman's killing: SM Krishna

External affairs minister SM Krishna on Tuesday said that the authorities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are probing the killing of an Indian fisherman by US naval personnel. US Navy ship fired at small boat off the UAE coast injuring three fisherman and killing one. Krishna condoled the death of an Indian fisherman. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa has also written a letter to the Prime Minister urging to take up the issue to the UAE and US governments. Earlier, the US officially confirmed that the US navy ship Rappahannock fired shots at a fishing vessel near the port of Jebel Ali in Dubai. US had issued a statement condoling the attack.
