Pandemonium erupted in Kashmir assembly on Saturday over difference of opinion on unanimously rejecting Pakistani assembly's resolution that condemned the hanging of 2001 parliament attacks conspirator, Afzal Guru. Talking to reporters in Jammu a legislator of the regional Panthers Party, Balwant Singh Mankotia blamed the state government for stalling discussion on the issue and not allowing a counter resolution against Pakistan to be passed. Guru was hanged on February 09 at the Tihar jail in New Delhi, leading to imposition of curfew in Kashmir as government anticipated unrest. Keywords: Kashmir Assembly, Pakistani Assembly, Afzal Guru, Balwant Singh Mankotia
