Vegetable prices up
Updated on Oct 07, 2007 07:41 pm IST
It's not just onions anymore. Prices of all the vegetables across the country have raised by 25 per cent since last month. Prices of key vegetables like onion and potatoes have doubled over the past year, tomatoes cost almost five times of what they did last October and other edibles are also much costlier than they used to be. All this is throwing family budgets into disarray.
