Vermicelli sales up

The sale of sevayian or vermicelli, a must have sweet during the Muslim holy month of Ramzan has soared in the country. Attired in their festive best, markets these days are abuzz with the customers of this delicacy. According to owners of Vermicelli-making factories, the month generally brings in brisk business. Millions of Muslims across India began marking the fasting month on September 14 after the sighting of new moon.
