Walmart lobbying disclosure: govt ready for inquiry

Parliamentary affairs minister, Kamal Nath on Tuesday said that the Congress-led UPA government was open to an inquiry into Wal-Mart's lobbying practices, after reports highlighted that the company spent $25 million in the United States to help gain access to markets including India. Reacting to opposition's demand for probe, Kamal Nath, said the government would take all possible steps to unearth the facts related to the alleged allegation of Wal-Mart lobbying.
