Wangoi Police has rescued five schoolgirls who were kidnapped by militants on Friday. The girls resisted the threat and succeeded in opening the door to escape. These girls later informed the police who sprung into action. Kidnapping has been a burning issue in the northeast, where kids are kidnapped and forced to join militant troops. But the brave act of these girls is something that is to be applauded and worthy of being today's youth icon.
