Watch BJP's Vijay Sampla asks 'What's wrong with calling Radhe Maa 'devi'?
Updated on Aug 13, 2015 02:04 pm IST
Union minister of state for social justice and empowerment Vijay Sampla had earlier stirred a controversy when he claimed that all allegations against self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa are baseless. Sampla on Thursday defended his statements and said there was no problem in addressing her as 'devi' and an FIR being filed against her doesn't make her a criminal. Sources said the Hoshiarpur MP is trying to use his political clout to defend the controversial godwoman as his association with her is old. Radhe Maa has been accused in a dowry harassment case.
