A saffron Lamborghini Gallardo suddenly caught fire in South Delhi's Badarpur area on Monday afternoon. The driver of the Italian supercar, which comes at a ultra price tag of Rs 2.7 crore, managed to escape without any injuries, onlookers reported. According to primary reports, a leakage in the oil tank was the flash point in the car, which was on its way back from the service centre. Pictures of the car, circulated on social media, also confirm the first spark came from somwehere in the engine, since the car was charred from the rear side. Gallardo, which was discontinued in 2013, is a rear-engine supercar with a 5.5litre V10 engine.
