Water pipe falls on train in Thane

A portion of a water pipeline bridge on the suburban Thane-Mulund route came crashing on a local train in thane on Friday, injuring five persons. The mishap took place when a part of the under-construction Kopri water pipeline bridge fell on the Kalyan-bound train around 10.30 am on Friday morning, they said. Rail services on the Central line were disrupted due to the incident, crippling trains between suburban Kurla and Thane.
